Back in November, we introduced you to both the art and uplifting messages of Charley Mackesy from his book The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, and the Horse. We’ve continued to share his works in this blog and in our social networks since then. As some much needed wet weather finally comes to our Southern California communities, we though we would share the one below. It resonated with us, not just because of the timing with the incoming storm systems, but because of the important reminder it has for all of us about difficult circumstances, challenges, and emotions we face in our lives. Just like the weather, these, too, will eventually pass. Our current circumstances and challenges are temporary, and they will change. Also, we are NOT our emotions. We are just experiencing them, temporarily, and can let them pass. And just like any storm, they are best weathered together. Don’t hesitate to reach out for support when you need someone to light your way through the dark clouds.
