Project 99 is excited to tell our community about the Directing Change Program, which offers young people the opportunity to win prizes, express their feelings, take action, and to inspire others through art. Directing Change accepts submissions and awards prizes monthly through their program designed to engage youth to learning about mental health, suicide prevention and other critical health and social justice topics through film and art. Contestants can submit from a variety of formats and choose from the topics of hope, justice, or the monthly prompt. For example, the prompt for the month of November is “My Reason for Wearing a Face Covering…”
For more information about the contest or to sign up, access the flier HERE. You can also visit the Directing Change website HERE where you can learn more about the organization and view sample submissions. Finally, you can view an overview video on the Hope and Justice submission category HERE.
If you know of a talented youth who might be a candidate to participate in this content, please forward this information to them. Project 99 is so appreciative of this creative endeavor to help bring suicide and mental health awareness out of the dark!
